Το Black Adam έχει ημερομηνία εξόδου

Ο Dwayne Johnson με ανάρτηση που έκανε στο Instagram αποκάλυψε την πρεμιέρα του Black Adam, η οποία πρόκειται να γίνει στις 22 Δεκεμβρίου του 2021. Τα γυρίσματα της ταινίας αναμένεται να ξεκινήσουν τον ερχόμενο Ιούλιο.

Στα κόμικς ο Black Adam είναι ο αρχαίος Αιγύπτιος με το όνομα Teth-Adam, στον οποίο ο μάγος Shazam επέλεξε να του δώσει υπερφυσικές δυνάμεις. Όταν ο Teth-Adam έλεγε το όνομα του μάγου, μεταμορφωνόταν μέσα σε μια αστραπή στο "Mighty Human" φέροντας τις δυνάμεις έξι Αιγύπτιων θεών: Shu (αντοχή), Heru (ταχύτητα), Amon (σωματική δύναμη), Zehuit (σοφία), Aton (μαγικές δυνάμεις) και Mehen (θάρρος). Δημιουργοί του χαρακτήρα, ο οποίος ξεκινήσει ως villain ενώ στην σημερινή εποχή είναι αντι-ήρωας, είναι οι Otto Binder και C. C. Beck και το ντεμπούτο του το έκανε τον Δεκέμβριο του 1945 στο πρώτο τεύχος του The Marvel Family της Fawcett Comics.

Ο Dwayne Johnson έχει κλείσει να πρωταγωνιστήσει και θα έχει καθήκοντα παραγωγού μαζί με τους Hiram Garcia και Beau Flynn. Ο Jaume Collet-Serra θα σκηνοθετήσει από σενάριο του Adam Sztykiel. Στην παραγωγή θα βρίσκονται οι New Line Cinema, Seven Bucks Productions και Flynn Picture Company.
